Armored indoor fiber optic cables are specifically designed for enhanced durability and performance in environments where mechanical protection is critical. Its structure contains stainless steel armor inside the jacket, which will help make it resistant to high tension and pressure. The stainless steel tube prevents optic fiber from damage which improves the stability of the system.
It contains 2 tight-buffered fibers bundled under the same jacket with a spiral steel tube as strength members to stiffen the cable and prevent kinking.Its durable design allows it to withstand installations and operations.
It is widely used for data centers or Central Office applications, as well as point-to-point connections. The strands are color-coded for easy identification and installation.
